It's the Old Army Game is a 1926 silent film comedy starring W. C. Fields and Louise Brooks. It was directed by A. Edward Sutherland and co-stars Sutherland's aunt stage actress Blanche Ring in one of her few silent film appearances. It's an original screen story for Fields based on several skits from his stage plays. The film was shot at Paramount's Astoria facility on Long Island and in Manhattan. It is preserved complete in the Library of Congress.[1] [2]
